Educational Technology Standards:
- This ongoing project of the International
Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) includes standards for students and teachers. Search lesson plans

The
National Council of Teachers of English:
- What should your language arts students know

standards for teaching English. You can also participate in online discussion
about putting standards into practice in your classroom.

Science Education Standards:
- These standards were developed by a
coalition of the Governing Board of the
National Research Council, the National Academy of Engineering, and the
Institute of Medicine, with support from various agencies.

ASSIST -
Articulation System Stimulating Inter-institutional Student Transfer
- ASSIST is an online student-transfer information system that
shows how course credits earned at one public California college or
university can be applied when transferred to another. ASSIST is the
official repository of articulation for California’s public colleges and
universities and provides the most accurate and up-to-date information
about student transfer in California.
California State University, Los Angeles Industry and Technology Program
- Cal State L.A.’s Department of Technology has a curriculum for
any aspiring technologist. Whatever program of specialization you
choose, Cal State L.A.’s Department of Technology will prepare you for
the next step in your career development, whether it’s immediate
employment upon graduation, teaching, entrance into an advanced degree
program or employment in the public or private sector.
California State
University, Long Beach Liberal Studies Program
- The Liberal Studies major provides a rich, rigorous
cross-disciplinary liberal arts program of study. There are two programs
in the major: 1.) The Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP)
is for students intending to become teachers who wish to combine subject
matter preparation for elementary teaching with coursework leading to a
Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. 2.) Track I is for students
who seek subject matter preparation for elementary teaching as
preparation for a post-baccalaureate credential program. Student's in
the Track I program have the opportunity to complete a concentration in
a selected area of study.

State University, Long Beach Math & Science Teachers Program
- CSULB's Math and Science Teacher Initiative (MSTI) Program can
offer you support in achieving your goal of becoming a math or science
teacher. Whether you are thinking of adding a supplemental credential to
an existing one (Multiple Subject Credential holder who wants to teach
Math at the Middle School Level) or someone who is considering a career
in teaching but has a background or aptitude for math or science, they
can help you.
California State University, Long Beach Professional Studies Program
- Programs in the Professional Studies Department are designed to
enable persons to gain the competencies requisite for successful
employment in secondary schools, community colleges and adult programs
as teachers, coordinators and supervisors of vocational, occupational,
career and technical preparation, and related human resource development
