California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) - Cerritos College and CSULA have enjoyed an informal partnership through the Woodworking and the Technology Departments, respectively, to provide students an opportunity to complete courses that meet CSULA degree requirements. The Chancellor’s Office, California Community Colleges Teacher Preparation Pipeline Grant has provided an opportunity to formalize that partnership by developing pathways for future CTE teachers. CSULA offers the following degrees that prepare students for teaching careers:

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (Production Option)

• Bachelor of Vocational Education

Furthermore, CSULA is one of only two California State Universities offering a Single-Subject Credential program in Industrial Technology and Education.
